Data Analysis CHS
During my time at Corporativo Hospital Satélite, I have had the opportunity to lead a series of projects that have significantly enriched my professional experience and contributed to the success of the organization. These projects have spanned various areas and involved the application of skills in data analysis, project management, and process optimization. Below, I present the most relevant projects I have undertaken:
Measurement of medical Imaging Department Capacity
This project was very challenging and significantly contributed to the development of my project management skills due to its complexity. It involved measuring the capacity of the imaging department, evaluating both the machines and the technicians. When I took on the project, a report had already been delivered, but I identified many areas for improvement. The final result was very useful for the process owners. Below, I present a general description of the process.
To calculate the technicians' capacity, we first obtained the actual schedules of each person by recording their entry and exit times. Then, we determined the demand through the DIVER system, which we use to manage the data. With this information, I designed a formula that uses the start and end times to break down the hours and determine hourly availability. This is especially important for night shifts, as we need to allocate the hours to the corresponding day. Finally, we divided the technicians into seven groups based on their specialties.
Then, I proceeded to organize the data for input into Solver, aiming to minimize the time of overdemand per hour, with the constraint that it be equal to or greater than zero. This involved minimizing 168 rows to obtain the most optimal result possible. After minimizing the sum of the overdemand for each specialty, I rearranged the data provided by Solver into our format. This allowed me to simulate the time used by the technicians to meet the demand and identify cases where it was insufficient.
